To real volley lovers, Wout Wijsmans needs no introduction! Considered as one of the best players Belgium ever had, he rightfully claimed his spot down the Belgian volleyball Hall-Of-Fame. Starting off his career in Zonhoven and Maaseik, Wout swapped Belgium for the Italian promised land where he would play 14 consecutive seasons in world class volleyball teams Lube and Piemonte. Besides, he played more than 15 years in the national team where he gathered 167 national caps.
For the first edition of Beachvolley Lovers, we are extremely proud to welcome this true volley-legend as our tournament host. Wout will be leading the way through this unforgettable beachvolley experience!
